Can not be measured

by Mark Hopwood   Mar 22, 2024

The sky, so big and vast,
Is small compared to my love for you,
The oceans, deep and endless,
Are a puddle compared to my love for you too,
The land, upon which we stand,
Is fragile compared to how I feel about you,
Space, in it's infinite majestic vastness,
Is just pocket fluff, compared to the scale of my love and longing for you.

The love I have for you, baby,
It can not be measured or contained,
When this world has crumbled and gone,
My love for you will remain,
The thoughts in my mind, the feelings that shine,
The utter joy that you are mine,
You hold my very life in your hands,
Our love is truly devine.

My heart it sings and calls your name, my soul just longs to be near,
My mind is endlessly thinking of you,
My love for you is so clear,
My love for you, I can't contain,
It spills from every thought I think,
Baby, you really are my every desire,
As my soul and your soul link.
Our souls connect in a beautiful embrace,
As we swirl and spiral without end,
I love you, infinity and completely.
My lover, my soulmate, my friend.
