Sometimes I think
I’ll never be enough
I’m not pretty, not smart
Every relationship has been so tough.

I give my all
Even though I go without.
Why did I bother to fall
When it’s been nothing but doubt.

You’d think as time goes by
I’d find someone who loves like I do

Don’t act surprised
when your the one at fault
With every time I’ve tried,
Your love came to a halt.

Don’t blame me for all of your mistakes
Don’t act like I fell out
When you made my heart break.
And filled me with all of this doubt.

Don’t wonder how it would be
If I stayed and played your game.
It’s taken this long for you to see
You were driving me insane.

So though you didn’t beat me
Sometimes I wish you would
Bruises are harder to see
Than the damaged though I stood.
