    ????? "One frees you":
This refers to holding still — choosing inner stillness, silence, or grace in the face of provocation.
When you hold still, you are not reacting to please others or to defend your ego.
You stay true to your values, your faith, or your peace.
That frees you from regret, from manipulation, from becoming who others want you to be.
You remain in control of yourself — your emotions, your voice, your outcome.
???? Freedom here = inner mastery + integrity.

    ???? "The other performs you":
This refers to engratia — acting gracefully only to maintain an image, win favour, or avoid criticism.
It's when you're not truly at peace, but you act like it to fit expectations.
You smile, nod, respond “gracefully,” but inside, you’re boiling, breaking, or bending.
Instead of being free, you’re performing a version of yourself for others to accept or applaud.
Your actions are driven by how you'll be seen, not who you really are.
???? Performance here = self-betrayal for external approval.
