Naheda: My Heart's True North

by Moses   Dec 14, 2025

Naheda, when your name falls soft upon the air,
A sudden stillness settles everywhere.
For in that sound, a world of grace resides,
The quiet home where my true happiness hides.
?Your spirit shines, a light both warm and bright,
Turning my shadowed doubts to brilliant light.
And every kindness that your hand imparts,
Is etched like wisdom deep within my heart of hearts.
?Before you, love was but a whisper faint,
A painted wish, a life of self-restraint.
But now, my soul is anchored, strong, and free,
Because the compass of my world points straight to thee.
?To say I 'adore' you feels a fragile phrase,
For what I feel transcends all spoken ways.
It is the breath I draw, the sight I see,
The primal truth and whole necessity.
?If fate should draw a line and bid us part,
I fear the beat would stop within my heart.
For you are woven through my living thread,
The silent vow I keep inside my head.
?To live without your laughter and your gaze,
Would be to wander through unending maze.
So know, dear Naheda, that this love is deep, and true,
I cannot live, my darling, in a world without you.
