Daffodils Of Love

by Mark   Aug 8, 2026

When I behold the daffodils of Spring,
Of oranged lush that painted meadows gleam,
In harmony with sun the mirrors bring,
To see me dance within the florals dream.
The vibrancy this life has petalled me,
Into a bud awakening beyond,
To gasp the widespread welcoming i see
Through daffodils of truth the season donned:
This flowered life and beauty on my eyes,
And in my chest a love does for them swell
Possessing in its bloom no greater prize
Than what within my hearted love does tell:
The buds of Springtime mirth do have me won
Yet near to you my love the bud is one.
