Yet Another Funny Feeling

by sarah k   Jul 21, 2004

I have this feeling that sits in the pit of my stomach.
I don’t know what it is,
Or why its there
The only thing I know is why it acts up….

When I talk to you…
Nothing seems to matter.
All my problems are concealed
And all my other feelings lost behind this one.
You put a smile on my face.
You help me with my problems
And you know exactly what to say at the exact time,
And yet you don’t know how much you mean to me.

This feeling first appeared one Friday night.
I was upset and crying because my friends were mad at me.
Nothing seemed to be going right.
But you told me there was so much to live for
And you told me never to give up.
No matter what you said…
It just seemed right.

But now I sit here,
Writing this,
And that feeling in the pit of my stomach is acting up again.
I want to get rid of it because it doesn’t seem right.
Why?
Because I’ve never even met you
And I’m almost positive this is a one-way feeling.
But there’s nothing I can do to change the way I feel.
Hopefully letting you know of this feeling will bring me some understanding of it all.
And hopefully
You will feel the same as I do.

hehehehe i know who this is about ;)... I think you should definately tell him Sarah. For him to be there for you, cheer you up and just be there to talk to you about anything, really shows that he is a great guy! Hey you never know, maybe he likes you too Sarah! Great poem too, Keep it up! Mwahz! Leah
