INTERNET ROMANCE

I met her on the internet, just a year ago,
we chatted nearly every day, we loved each other so,
she told me that she loved me, and always would be mine,
a promise that she would break with the pass of time,
soon she wasn't there no more, and I wondered why,
till I happened to see her, with this cyber guy,
oh they looked so happy , while I was so downcast,
then I had another thought, how long would their love last,
would it last forever like a true love in its prime,
or would it soon be over, just like her's and mine,
is he so unaware of the kind of girl she is,
he had to know she was my girl, but now he thinks she's his,
till one day he'll light up his screen, just to find it blank,
cause she will be out there searching, to add to her memory bank,
she will keep on adding , till her disc can hold no more,
then she will get another one at her computer store,
this is no laughing matter, this is no kind of joke,
I wish when I first met her, that my hard drive had broke,
then I wouldnt hurt so much, till the end of time,
yes I know their love won't last, just like her's and mine.
