Yesterday, Today, and Always

by CR   Jul 26, 2004

How do I find that one sweet one,
That girl who looks so good
That lady who melts my heart
That woman who bears our kids
That wife that keeps me in line
That mother who guides us all
That ma'am who demands our respect

What must I do to find her,
That woman who invades my dreams
That mother who hounds me about the kids
That wife that loves me so
That lady who stole my heart
That girl who dances oh so smooth

What will identify her to me,
Will it be light dancing feet
Will she be always on my mind
Will she kiss me in time
Will she radiate kindness

Oh Lord please guide me to her
Or her to me
Help us find our dreams
And let us always be clean

As day finds another day
May we never run stray
And I pray we always say

I love you, yesterday, today, and always

To my own credit, you just wait... Trying makes the "one" not show up, or show up at every other week.
