Can I write a poem for you,
to tell you how I feel,
would it be all right with you,
babe let's make a deal,
I won't write one that's bad,
or degrading to you or me,
I just want you to know,
I love you, don't you see,
I want to be able to say,
all thats on my mind,
babe, I think about you every day,
and all my thoughts are kind,
now I have to tell you
that you're the only one,
that can be in my heart
till my life is done,
I think about your beauty,
and your sex appeal,
I know you are a cutie,
and my love for you is real,
so reach out to me,
tell me that you care,
that would make me happy,
cause I see you every where,
I don't know just what I'll do,
if you won't let me,
write a poem for you.
