Another Dandy Poem

by dandy   Aug 11, 2004

My best friend. She's a girl like me.
My other best friend. He's a male you see.
He doesn't own clothes, he doesn't live in a house.
He's neither huge and tall, nor as tiny as a mouse.
He doesn't know his parents, and he doesn't go to school.
Around his few friends, he doesn't have to act cool.
He helps me with my fears, he listens to my thoughts.
He never shuts me out, these things cannot be bought.
I want him so badly, I want to make him mine.
My parents know I love him, yet they draw the line.
I just can't help it, I'll do what it takes.
I think about it a lot, it's a never ending heartache.
I think, What if I had him? but it's only just a dream.
You might think I'm talking about a boy, to you that's how it seems.
It's definitely not a boy, no way, no such, no how.
He's a horse named Dandy. That's all I need to say for now.
