HOW MANY

HOW MANY

How many poems can I write to you,
how many ways can I say, I love you,
how many times do you want to hear,
all of the ways that I love you my dear,
how many stars are there in the sky,
a countless number and I know just why,
each star is a way that I love you,
each star is old, yet each star is new,
how many drops of rain in a cloud,
like a clap of thunder my hearts beats out loud,
how many grains of sand on the shore,
I counted a billion but there is still more,
how many is a question that isn't new,
how many is endless, like my love for you.
