My Best Friend

by Kristin   Aug 16, 2004

My best friend is not of the ordinary,
She eats out of a bowl,
and sheds black hair where ever she's been,
She's good on the leash but is hard to control.

She greets me everyday I come home,
She fills my heart with love,
When ever I'm sad I go to her,
She must be an angel from above.

She is 12 years old with huge brown eyes,
Her hair is slowly turning grey but she is still very active,
She is a fabulous runner and she walks me,
She doesn't care if I am fat or if I'm un-attractive.

Zoe loves everyone so much
Even my annoying cousin Joey.
I love her so much and I am so happy.
My best friend's name is Zoe!

**Zoe** Pronounced zo-ey

Oh Kristin this was such a cute poem! It's very ironic, because I have a dog named Zoe as well! =] Anyway, you did a very good job writing this and I look forward to reading more of your poetry. Keep writing!
