The Dream Line

A thing exists, its called The Dream Line,
there are ten guys sitting there.
Pick which one you think is right,
you two could be a pair.
As you head towards number one, you may feel a bit compelled,
Go ahead and walk right up,
you will not be withheld.
Number one is very handsome,
blond hair with blue eyes,
you really like the way he looks,
but you feel nothing, no surprise.
You move along to number two,
expecting a certain rush.
But your feeling isn't very strong,
its more like a childhood crush.
On to number three,
you stop and you both stare.
But his look isn't kind at all,
just a cold hard glare.
A bit apprehensive, you move along,
and halt at number four.
This guy is a foot away from a TV,
he looks at you and shouts,
They scored!!!!!!!
You definitely know he is no good,
as you give him a weird face.
He doesn't notice, he's too into the game,
that guy is clearly a disgrace.
Number five looks strictly at your chest,
you know he's filled with lust.
When he says,
Come here baby,
you immediately leave in disgust.
You head on down to number six,
he doesn't seem so bad.
But then he spits right on the ground,
for you, he's not the lad.
You decide to speak to number seven,
he looks like a decent guy.
But you know he's not your type,
when he ignores you and says,
Oh look! A fly!
Getting discouraged you make your way on to number eight.
The way he's sitting,
the way he's dressed,
you can tell he isn't straight.
Number nine is smiling to himself,
and laughs as your getting near.
You stop before him,
he giggles some more, and whispers
something you can't hear.
Your glad you can't make out what he's saying,
you don't even want to know.
You feel depressed as you head towards ten,
your hopes are running low.
You reach his seat,
and just stand there, not really expecting much.
but suddenly you get a strange feeling,
almost like a loving touch.
You look into his eyes,
and he looks into yours.
You know that you have found that guy,
he just makes your heart soar.
I'm not describing him,
because I don't know what he looks like.
The guy's different for every girl.
I hope one day I find a guy that
with happiness, makes my head twirl.

Don't give up. He's out there somewhere!!
