No regrets

by sherona   Aug 28, 2004

As I sit and begin to write,
The thought of you becomes my light.
I wonder what you’re doing now,
Today im going to take my vow,
So easily I can lose my temper,
And so easily I hope you remember,
You are now and will always be,
A true friend indeed
Im right here if you need me,
Everything you say makes me laugh,
Even when you begin to sound daft,
I wonder how luck comes along,
Me and you friends forever is where we belong,
You call me beautiful, banana and doughnut,
Ill support you in everything you do, but
Before that day you leave me all alone,
I do hope you’ll be there for me on the phone,
Because every friend needs a friend too,
To help them when they’re sad and blue,
Of all the friends I’ve ever met,
You’re the one I won’t forget,
So please read and accept,
That to me our friendship has the least of regrets
