Nobody's wife

by dandy   Aug 28, 2004

A single drop falls to the ground.
From my eyes, many more are bound.
Within seconds it freezes to ice.
Just like my heart, I no longer feel nice.
It's all his fault, he made it go cold.
He left me for her is what I was told.
He'll get what's coming, he won't even know.
It'll hit him so fast, that one good strong blow.
He'll come crying back,
just because of that whack.
I simply won't help him, he can learn on his own.
How badly it feels to be disowned.
When he says sorry, I'll laugh in his face.
I won't be able to help it,
he's such a disgrace.
I'll tell him too bad,
I've found someone new.
Though I will say that, it won't be true.
I'm through with guys and all of there games.
I don't have to play,
for I've got my own aims.
No men, no more, it's just me in life.
Committed to no one, I'm nobody's wife.
