this remimends me of some of my poetry i've wrote. Same type of thing i was talking about a lenged creature who comes out to feast the jersey devil. Anyways i liked how you described everything. I like how you wrote he hunting for a victim, who will satisfy his thirst. Another life, so much like his wife.

Slightly creepy, its like a i dont know. i like hte da dun da dun da da da da da dun.. thats how i interpret the flow or w/e. i like how the 3rd line double rhymes, but it makes the poem less scary. but a wicked awesome tale and poem.
