As Good As You

Everyone around me
Is finding true happiness
But my life sucks
I just can't take this

I don't have that someone
Who's always there for me
I'm seemingly alone
Though many people I see

Most of these people
Just pass me by
Not even thinking
Of asking why

Not asking why I'm crying
Or why my wrists are bloody
Most people I see
Don't truly care about me

But there is one
Who knows what i can be
There is one
Who knows the true me

She's there through the worst
She's there through the best
She'd take a bullet for me
Right to the chest

Most people need more
Than one good friend
That will be there for them
Until the end

But not me
I don't know what I'd do
If I had another friend
As good as you
