Composure

by ashley shassetz   Sep 7, 2004

A thought unwinding at day's end. Now vividly being revealed --
to the eyes of the oblivious bystander.
Guilt, fear
and hunger race before the eyes of the unknown,
tormenting the last breath of life,
becoming dust
blown away into the wind,
as the soul disintegrates into a coffin,
into life.
