Alejandra

Alejandra,
When you place that rose
upon your skin,
I tremble.
How is it something so beatiful,
such as this rose,
appears to be so ugly
when compared to your delicate skin.
How is it I can love something so beatiful?
When I am so ugly.
It's funny.
I feel like I am..
I am that rose.
My dear Alejandra,
I love you.
