When our eyes meet
your love overtakes me
When our skin touches
my heart wants you closer

How do you make me feel this way?
This feeling that conquers my body
rules my emotions
and brightens my spirit

When I'm with you
I'm safe from the tainted world
when I'm with you nothing else matters

I don't understand
why you chose me
why some one as perfect as you
would chose some one as imperfect as me

When your away
I feel like my heart is missing
when your away
all I can think about is the day i will be forever with you

    Good poem. But there are some stanza's I had trouble reading through. I'll insert some words, etc, tell me what you think of them.

    "I don't QUITE understand,
    why you have chosen me.
    Why some one as perfect as you,
    would chose the imperfect me.

    Whenever your faraway,
    I feel like my heart is missing.
    whenever your away,
    all I can think is, the day i will be with you.

    With the words, commas, fullstops that I added, I found those two stanzas much easier to read.
