Silver Never Looked So Metal (Twisted)

by Ian Robert   Sep 12, 2004

Silver glass,
Mirrors tilting the angle of my view,
Worlds coated thick within lies
My views blurred by the beat of reality,
Changing my perspective on life,
My thoughts mold together,
Forcing my mind to change shape,
Assassinating the spirit,
That’s killing fate,
Destroying the worlds love,
Replacing it with silver totems,
My eyes turning into silver marbles,
My hearts wrapped in a glossy shield,
Loves gone forever,
Death never felt so real,
Silver never looked so metal.

"Worlds coated thick within lies" I liked this line, so real, so true. Nice job on the poem, I liked the ending.
