We've been through heaven, and we've been through hell.

We never knew what only time, pain, and deception would tell.

You broke my heart, and in turn broke your own.

But now after how far we've come since then, how much we've grown.

I've forgiven every little mistake, that occurred on this path that we both must take.

We made wrong choices along the way, some worse than others.

But now I'm finally proud to say.

You are the one who holds my heart.

The one I with whom I never want to part, even for a day.

We both know, that each of us made one mistake too many.

But now it's time to let go of all that held us back in that past.

To be happy this time forever, to make forever this time last.

So say goodbye to what could have been, and all we should have been.
