First Love

by Jena   Sep 15, 2004

Lunch at "Island's", on our first date.
Liking you more, for saying you'd wait.

Water bottle fights, on hot summer days.
Making you laugh, with my naive little ways.

Carving pumpkins, on Halloween night.
Kissing you softly, by the candlelight.

A picnic in the woods, just for two.
Needing you more, than you ever knew.

Holding hands, while you drove us someplace.
Watching you sleep, and remembering your face.

Standing on the shore, as the sun set on the sea.
Looking you in the eyes, and hoping you loved me.

Anchor Blue cologne, on the collar of your shirt.
Loving you so much, that it physically hurt.
