Elusive Love

by hybrid_theory   Sep 15, 2004

You said you loved me you said you cared
I loved you back, as much as I dared

But tell me how can this be love if you're never there
I watch for you but I can't find you anywhere

You're like the light at the end of a tunnel I can't seem to reach
You're like the anger inside that I can't seem to unleash

You said I was your angel that I was always in your heart
But how can this be if we're always apart

I feel like you're a stalker, always there but hidden
Like you're a locked door, with it's purpose forbidden

It seems like you're the falling star that I can never hold
Like the doggy in the window, that's already been sold

Where are you? Just give me the sign
I need to see you, I need to make you mine

I guess forever I'm going to have to push and shove
Until I find you, my elusive love
