Could never explain

I could never explain why my love for you is so strong. But in the end it turned out to be all wrong.

I'll always remember that horrible fight when i finally said i was through on that empty night.

You hurt me in more ways that I've ever known, the words you say go deep into my body and hit every bone.

All the lying and cheating,
All the fights and all the beatings,

All the things you've done I'll never forget, every nasty word, every low hit.

But I've realized life goes on and i will live and in time i learned how to forgive.

I don't blame you for the things that went wrong, it was meant to happen all along.

I still love you in so many ways and I'll always love you until my dying days.
