Asking You

by Felicia Tursi   Sep 24, 2004

I want to ask you,
If you think we stick like glue.
But I'm just too shy,
As you walk on by.
You are the first thing I think about when my eyes open,
Your smile passes though my head again and again.
I would love it if you asked me,
Do you just have to let me be?
You may be a football star,
But my light shines for you ever so far.
Would you kiss me under the porch light?
Or even hug me and hold me tight?
Am I that bitter?
Maybe you could reconsider?
I want to tell you that my love is so strong,
I have waited way too long.
Tell me you'll say yes,
Believe me its or the best.
Say you'll be with me,
I could fill your heart with cheer and glee.
I can't ask you can't even smile at you,
Can't smile when I am thinking about you.
Can't get you out of my mind,
Your heart is so very kind.
When I look at you I think your so cute,
I don't care what they say I don't give a hoot.
If I gave you my number would you give me a call?
Would you stop and hug me as you pass though the hall?
Please my love answer this poem,
Come by and tell me while I'm at home.
I'm wondering how it would be,
I you and I were together as we.
