A Wish a Pact a Mistake (act one)

by Rafael Navarro   Sep 29, 2004

I cant help it I need to get out
Before I start to shout
What should I do its to quiet here
Where should I go
Maybe the park
Its getting dark
Should I just turn back
No you will just sit there
Why are you always depressed
Please tell me
don’t keep feeling suppressed
I need to sit down I need to relax
No matter what I try
You just sit there and cry
I want to see you happy
But life has been so damn crappy
You don’t laugh you don’t smile
It kills me inside
If only you could confide
(a man approaches)
“Excuse me sir you look anxious”
Go away not right now
“The name is Natas please to be your acquaintance”
What do you want go away
I’m not in the mood to play
“Sit down where are you going”
Someplace where people are less annoying
“You said you wanted to see her smile”
……………….
“Thought so, sit down this will take a while.”
“I can give you what you want”
“You wish her a life that she can live happy?”
This you can attain?
“Yes, now be quiet and let me explain?”
“Just make the wish and I shall grant it”
“But first sign my contract”
What’s the catch what’s this fine print
“Nothing just chicken scratch”
“Do you want to continue to see her sad?”
“Everything in her life to turn bad”
No
“Then quickly sign”
“On the dotted line”
“By the way what’s your name”
Cyril
“Well Cyril Life as you know will never be the same”
“Wish now, wish in her name”
I wish for Lulu to live a happy life with no problems
After I made the wish I fell to the floor
A woke the next morning at her door
I opened it she was crying
I knew that Natas was lying
She ran to me and hugged me
She wasn’t crying she was laughing
Could this be
It came true
What ……How…….what did he do
For some reason everything she cried for was gone
Everything she wanted was at her call
For my signature that was all.
