The hardest thing to do is say goodbye

This happened kind of fast
but i should have seen it coming
i felt like i was falling
but i couldnt stop running

holding on to nothing
but the thought of your sweet smile
after every obstacle
you made it all worth while

so to all of my encouragement
and my will to carry on
i give it all to you
cause youve kept me going strong

but i guess youve given up
your problems got to bad
i wish that i was there for you
all the times that you felt sad

so i say goodbye to all the hugs
and those two sec. kisses
there swept under the rug
along with all my wishes

so this is were we part
and go our separate ways
i wish you lots of happiness
on all your future days
