The Heart Vault

by Felicia Tursi   Oct 4, 2004

I'm holding onto a dream that won't come true,
Can't you see its not me its you.
Waiting for the day that you'll call,
I'm not your toy, I'm not a doll.
Will I ever be aware?
Or should I just beware?
I think I don't belong here,
Another dreadful tear.
Watching as it falls down my face,
My heart beats at a slow pace.
Pondering your every thought,
Running through the puzzling looks that i caught.
Your making me feel ashamed,
Like I'm the one to be blamed.
It's not my fault,
That your heart is a tightly locked vault.
I've tried to pick the lock,
My feelings towards you have spun amock.
You should give me the key,
To let in me.
And as soon as you do,
I'll be waiting for you.
