Isn’t it sad to see a growing man cry
To hear him whimper because your not by his side
For him to live day In day out wondering why
Why he is only strong with you behind

And often the tears do not compensate
So I write these words or run to make my feet bleed
Over the roads and through the woods I’ll chase
Looking for you or at least a similar face

I look for excuses and solutions every night
Distracted by your image reflecting in the moonlit sky
Only to leave me to stop and stare
And realise that you are actually, always for me there.
