The night was a dream come true
having you holding me
and slow dancing with you to
you kiss my lips
with your hands below my hips

me in my red dress so pretty
you not liking to dress up looked silly
but all night you brought a smile to my face even when are hands weren't lased

you brought me a white rose
which made me glad I was the girl you choose
you kissed my hand
when I said it hurt that whole night I felt so very grand

something about it made you wish it was forever
one dance with him
and I fell in love all over again
