When it's just me and you lying in the dark, when the rain starts to fall just as fast as my heart.

When there's no more games, just us forreal, I start to realize this is what I feel.

Everyone says to wait, but I just can't with you. How could I with that cute little smile, that you always seem to do.

As the rain falls harder my heart seems to race, as the clouds start to move into the shape of your face.

I'm getting really nervous now we're cheek to cheek, it's as though I can't even breathe.

You smile down at me, and say with such a laugh, "I love you so much and I know we'll last."

As I smile back and know never to forget that day, I say "I love you too" then pause and say "okay."

I'll never forget that night, but I'm sure he already has, if it means anything to you, I thought he was all I had.

Now as I stare into the empty dark, I realize what I did, and not a day will go by I won't think of it.

I will never forget the sound of my heart, or the clouds of his trembling face, but the fact that I loved him so much, and how he made my heart race.

But the day will go on and some memories might fade, but the thought of it will always stay.
