And I wish I knew you better than I do
But you hardly know my name and it makes me feel stupid for liking you

I've talked to you a couple of times
And I love the depth in your eyes and how they shine
And then I want you more

But you like someone else
While I'm stuck liking you
Yet I don't really know you
So I don't get how I like you as much as I do

My hands sweat
And my heart beats faster
I know if I told you
It would be a disaster

I sometimes daydream
In a distant melody
Of things that could happen
Between you and me

Maybe one day I can tell you
That I've liked you from the start
And maybe if I'm lucky
You'll love me with your heart

And then I could at least have a chance
To prove myself to you
To know that I could love you
And you could love me too...
