Scars

I look into the mirror
I see blank and empty space
I feel so lost
And so out of place

I gave you my heart
But you threw it in my face
It was in little pieces
And some can't find their place

I'm starting to lose myself
I'm no longer sure where to go
So I start to cut myself
I can't believe I went so low

I am unsure of what to do
The tears are consuming my life and me
They are all that I feel

They took over the face I used to know

So as I stare into the mirror
The scars cut deeper still
