Time Will Tell

Someone please tell me why it feels so bad?
I can’t stop thinking about what I once had.
You took my childhood, my innocence, my youth
Now I’m all grown up and I want to know the truth
Did you ever love me the way that I loved you?
Does it mean anything, all the things that we’ve been through?
I can’t really express what I’m feeling inside,
But when you hurt me like that, a part of me died,
You were too drunk, do you even know what you’ve done?
You were treating me so bad, I just had to run
You didn’t treat me the way I deserved to be treated,
Now I’m here once again, alone and defeated.
Nothing I can do now, only time will tell,
Either raise me from the darkness or deliver me to hell.
