I've lost you

by Kat   Oct 19, 2004

You made me feel alive,
Gave me a purpose in life,
I don’t know how,
After all this time,
Our love which burned so brightly,
Has been extinguished.
How did this happen?
I thought we were inseparable,
But the truth remains,
You’re gone and now I am left alone,
To grieve over losing your love and trust.
There will never be anyone else,
No one could take your place in my heart.
I will always cherish our past,
And all the moments we spent together,
Good ones as well as painful ones.
I will never forget our first kiss,
And the way you said “I love you”,
I was your first, as you were mine.
The thought of losing you forever,
Is just too much to bare, a pain that kills me
Slowly day by day, slowly consuming my broken heart,
Until there is nothing left to take.
But I will stand strong by my feelings for you,
Which will forever tie me to you, as binding as time itself.
What could have been, only time could tell,
I will always love you,
I swear to love you until my dying day and even then,
The thought of you will bring a smile to my face.
You will always be everything to me, my reason for living,
I’ve lost you now, but you will forever remain in my heart
I’ve lost you, my reason to live, so I guess I’ll say,
That this is the end of everything I had hoped and dreamed of.
You will always be in my thoughts and in my heart,
You will forever be my one true love,
Nothing in the world could ever change that.
