Stitches

by Nicholas   Oct 21, 2004

It's amazing how you seem to be
so perfect in my eyes.
So well equipped to suture,
the remnants of my life.
The surgery you perform, though,
mends a broken heart.
A heart bent and broken,
and many times torn apart.
You care for my battle scars,
as if they were your own.
Your love is great and almost,
more than I'm able condone.
I love your every giggle,
I adore your every grin.
But what I care most about,
is what you hold within.
You see, you bandage all my scrapes,
and set my broken bones.
You tend so much to my wounds,
that you forget about your own.
Your generous soul and caring heart,
cause you not to see
that your fatal open cuts
have been caused by me.
But I swear to you, that I will
fix this lethal glitch.
Then sew us back together,
stitch by painful stitch.

About this poem:
I fell in love with a girl a little while back. But because of my problems we were torn away from each other.

Hey Guys and Gals, how about this one? If you like it you know what to do.
