Calling

by Samantha lynn   Oct 21, 2004

Do I live to love
or love to live?
Do I stop my heart from burning?
Or do I have so much more to give?
The fog’s so lonely when rising
And yet I stand here alone.
Calling
CALLING
CALLING out your name
Praying you’ll come home.
I saw your eyes so long ago
The concern and love embedded into the deepest well
Reaching into my makeshift heart
And pulling me from this hell.
The storm was coming in
The lighting flashed
Thunder crashed
Soared and shook around me
Until I lay broken on the bare ground.
Wrapped into this emotion
Broken to lover’s bliss
Your hand reached out to me
And locked me in a kiss.
You took me into a moment
Where your hand lies on my bare waist
And your lips search mine for the answer
As to why our past was erased.
It doesn’t matter how this happened
But you’ve become part of me.
So take me into your sweet essence
Letting our emotions merge and run together free.
