Fine Lines to Cross

by Samantha lynn   Dec 8, 2009

If it's a fine line between,
love and lust
and
hate and love
doesn't that mean
we seem to love hate
and lust for love?
Because then, oh then my dear,
everything would seen to be so much more
rational in irrational senses
When it comes to understanding the way
your cruel existance still haunts and affects me.
It's like a disease.
The way you seem to crawl back under my skin
and make me believe loving you
is the only way I can survive and thrive.
Obviously you haven't heard the anthem
inspiring simple heartbroken girls
to scream to the flowing wind
"I will survive"
Thank you Mrs. Gaynor.
See you forgot that lines drawn
don't have to be crossed
and sometimes you have to pick which side you want.
And you my backstabbing
heart stealing
empty headed lover
made your choice when you slept in her bed that night.
