A Letter

by Tamon G   Oct 29, 2004

Before I start, this is the way I feel,
these are my true feelings revealed.
I wish that you can hear these words,
but this is the way that I prefer.

When I look at you,
I don't just see a face.
I look deep into your eyes,
to catch your true beauty,
and grace.

Sensing the innocence that
you try so much to hide,
but I can feel that sometimes
you cry deep inside.

Let me be your tissue when
you start to weep.
Let me take in all of your troubles,
so you can fall asleep.

I never want to see you hurting
in any type of way.
I will try my hardest,
to keep your demons away.

I can't promise you a star,
cause thats impossible to give.
But I can promise you that I won't let
your troubles be relived.

Empty dreams and dark paths cloud
your soul, and your heart of glass.
Let me fill your dreams and light your path,
and castaway those doubts at last.

No more fears are in your way,
I kept my word, I didn't set astray.
Long hours sitting in the dark at night,
I gave you my candle of love to give you light.

At anytime if you feel scared, and
things aren't getting better.
Just look in your desk and feel proud,
that someone took the time to write you a
love letter.
