    my parents knew for a short amout of time and they threatened to send me to a mental institution or to a foster home...they think homosexuality is a sickness:(so i told em it was only a phase and that i went back to bein straight so my thing is now to never tell em again until at least i move out b/c i am too scared.

    WOW...very Sad poem, but yah know what, Never be afraid of who you are, i am straight so i dont know exactly what your going threw but i would never give people the satisfaction of hiding your real self. Be you and be PROUD of you no matter what sexual preferity, Always know that you are never alone everyday someone struggles with the same thing, but dont let anyone bring you down because you prefer girls then guys...who cares as long as you are happy then screw the people who are trying to make you feel like you are doing something wrong!!!!

    wow this was great.. I'm really sorry what you had to go through with your parrents.. beign gay or straight for that matter is not a sickness, but you all probably know that already. I hope that some day soon you will be able to tell them about it, but if you cant dont worry as long as you are true to yourself thats all that matters. This poem was beautiful, and i loved it..
