Wanting you
Every time I’m close to you
There is so much I can’t say
Too much I could never say
So many feelings and emotions
And not a single word to describe them
You leave me speechless

Every time I’m close to you
The world turns to shadows
I can’t hear a whisper or a scream
A footstep or a heartbeat
Sounds I never knew echo through my head
You leave me breathless

Every time I’m close to you
It’s just me and you
You and I
People fade and memories shatter
Together forever
You leave me wanting you
