*Her Diary*

by little birdy   Nov 6, 2004

The girl he likes is very wild
They'd never forget all those times they had smiled
But when for the second time he let her go
This is the time she said she "Doesn't know"

He's asking her, for his last big chance
He told her last times he was in a trance
So she gave him an answer on that final day
Saying yes, and thinking how things will go a bad way

But he had surprised her with many great things
She's glad she gave him a chance because of the joy that it brings
Although there are problems that have to come in
But she'd always try to keep them within

She'd never give a frown or even a hint
So the thoughts in her mind he would never print
Although she'd shut down each one of those days
All she would do is just sit and gaze

Everyday she'd sit down and take out her box
One thing she would never keep within locks
She reads through the letters that she saved from the past
Realizing "forever" never seemed to last

She looks at a bracelet that's showing his care
Sitting on her bed, holding it with a stare
She looks at a picture of him as a kid
And she could tell he's a person who never hid

Then she flips through the song that he wrote just for her
All memories come like a sudden blur
But those aren't the things that she loves him for
They're just few things that she'll always adore

She doesn't want him to know all the pain that she'd taken
But she suddenly wonders if her answer's mistaken
She wants to know if he, loves her the way he said he would
And she wants him to know that she loves him just because she could

So now she sees he's what she needs
And this is where the ending leads
She realized that she will need him through all time
And she sees it is true, love don't cost a dime
