I hope I'm not giving you too much all at once
But these poems I send feel so right and nice
You are on my mind all the time
I think about you day and night
Like a clock ready to chime
I am here your shining white knight

You are the first to get letters like these
sent by me And this is the first poem
I wrote for thee and will not be the last
But you are the first and the last
For you and only you these letters I do keep
