Will this snow ever melt
With the feelings I once felt
Will I ever be warm again
Won't this winter ever end
I remember just last summer we laid in the grass
How we would watch the stars pass
Then when you left everything got cold
And now there's no one for me to hold
The leaves began to turn golden and fall
As i sat and cried against the wall
And as the snow fell and colored it all white
I hold in the warmth with all of my might
The holidays came and I cried for your hand
If only you were here then maybe I could stand
My heart remains frozen until another comes along
Until then I need to remain strong
But as long as this winter is here
No one will wipe away this tear
