Forsaken Jewl

by Ian Robert   Nov 13, 2004

Wish upon,
My body,
So dead is,
Everything,
As I lay dreaming,
About something,
Even as,
These thoughts are forgotten,
I remember,
Lies always heard,
Truth never told,
Sin forever expressed,
Sickly abused body.

Mortality dry and thin,
Home is so far away,
Life is so dull and worthless.

Nothing complete,
Sticks and stones,
Shatter my bones,
No words will repair this damage.

Waiting for the unborn child,
To claim the throne as thy king,
A kingdom left for dead,
Here my child will sleep,
Until the morning sun,
Will shine upon his forsaken face,
And show him the maidens Jewel.
