The comeback

by don mohr   Nov 14, 2004

Always coming back with a cool one-
liner, to make myself seem useful
enough to her, that maybe I was
the man she was looking for-
Then a mental slap and a wet kiss
from her dog, my complaining?
No way-I expect this treatment, it
is the \"divine way\" she paves for
me, you know, her shit don\'t stink
it GLOWS!
Slap again! Dang, I wipe off my silly
grin-I lean back like \"you want
some then?\" Naaaa-I was just
fooling baby-I couldn\'t comeback
with a good maybe-
The comeback, you know, a few of
them words put together after
the \"what do you want from me\"
phrase, its a hard one to pull out
though-so I settle for the slap and
the mental midget from hell
but its alright-with us, its a way
of life.
