I miss you?

by emilie   Nov 15, 2004

I hope that you can picture, I hope that you can see
An empty bed-side table with a clock reading half past one.
This is the time I have been waking, every morning since you went, staring at your bed side – still laiden, crisp sheets that have been left.

The space that’s now beside me, no one for me to caresses, no empty breakfasts at the table, draw of the chain…all that I miss.

Since you’ve gone, it left me thinking, were you really there?
It felt there was a space beside me; four walls and a floor.
How can I send this card to you, you gave me no address, no phone number, nothing, just another empty chest...
