Boy I Once Loved

As I looked into his beautiful brown eyes I saw it, the loving, kindness I had seen so many times before.
At once I knew he was the one that I loved and had cried so many times for.
The one I did have but didn't have anymore. I had lost, failed to concede. I missed him his warm body against mine as I hugged him and held his hands.
But now all is lost I don't feel his warm body anymore. I feel cold and rejected, but I have learned to let go. Not everything will last for ever.
