First time

by Carol Chambers   Nov 19, 2004

From the first time i saw you i knew you were mine,
i trembled with fear from my neck down my spine,
i started to stutter and jumble my words,
you made me feel like i could fly with the birds.
when we first kissed i felt warmth from inside,
i could not believe this was happening to me,
this moment i waited for was finally here,
i savoured this moment for eternity,
now death has come and taken you away,
i think to myself how can i stay,
in this world which is so cruel and unfair,
i remind myself there are more fish out there,
as each day passes i slowly forget
the times that we had and the times we had spent,
the time has come to say goodbye,
i will miss you forever and never forget,
goodbye.

I really like this, it's sad but it's good.
